The problem
One counter, four workflows, zero room for error.
A pharmacy runs purchasing, inventory, sales, and returns simultaneously — and every one of them touches money and medicine. The system had to cover the complete goods cycle with accurate reporting and direct print support, without slowing down the counter.
The approach
A clear data model per operation, one log across all of them.
We modeled each operation type — purchase, sale, return — with its own clean data structure on Laravel 11, tied every transaction into a full activity log for audit, and built dynamic reports filterable by date, category, and supplier.
