MatchPlay: match day, managed.

A mobile app for sports match management, schedules, and results — packaged as a true native app with NativePHP, so one Laravel codebase powers the whole experience, online or off.

The problem

A real mobile app, without a second codebase.

The client needed on-device match management — schedules, results, standings — as a genuine mobile app. Building it natively in Swift and Kotlin would have meant two extra codebases for a single product.

The approach

One Laravel codebase, packaged native.

We built the app with NativePHP, which packages a Laravel application as a true native mobile app — and paired it with SQLite for local storage, so the app keeps working at the pitch, with or without a connection.

What we built

  • — Match management and sports schedule display
  • — Structured results and standings views
  • — A native mobile interface built with NativePHP
  • — Offline-capable operation via SQLite
  • NativePHP
  • Laravel
  • SQLite
  • Tailwind CSS

The outcome

Delivered, installed, and match-day ready.

A functional native app running on client devices — built and shipped with web technologies, at a fraction of the cost of parallel native builds.
